Project: Vision System for Cannula Inspection
QUALITY CONTROL
The machine vision project focuses on inspecting and measuring the heel distance and orientation of cannulas to ensure they meet stringent quality and safety standards. The system captures images of each cannula as it passes through the production line. The software analyzes these images to accurately measure the heel distance, which is critical for proper fit and functionality, while also determining the orientation of the cannula to verify that it is correctly positioned for packaging. Any cannulas that do not meet specified tolerances for heel distance or are incorrectly oriented are automatically flagged for removal, thus ensuring that only compliant products proceed to the next stage of production.
