Template Matching Basic
Correlation-based algorithm for simple and robust matching.
Template Matching licenses provide pylon vTools for easy training of models and high-performance, adjustable recognition of trained intensity patterns on live images. Create models by marking areas on live images or on images from files. The trained model is detected in the live image via normalized cross correlation, which makes it robust against edge deformation, rotation and unsharpness. Images can be aligned with object positions from matching for further processing steps.
pylon vTools are part of Basler’s pylon Software Suite.
